Access to the internet is not a luxury, but a basic necessity, regardless of the geographic area from which it is being accessed. Finding a good internet service provider is important to everyone, but it may be hard for those of us that live in rural areas. In general, and especially in a less urban setting, providers offering good coverage at high speed stand out above the competition.

Unfortunately, not everyone has much choice when it comes to shopping for internet services. According to reports, more than one third of the Americans have access to only one broadband internet provider. The best ISPs offer nationwide coverage and are available even in rural areas.
